2010 Shelton Valley Enduro

The 2010 Shelton Valley Enduro is happening on May 1st and May 2nd, 2010 at the Mason County Fairgrounds in Shelton, Wa. (See map below).  This NMA points event begins with a enduro school and beginners enduro on May 1st and is followed up by the full enduro on May 2nd.

Shelton Valley Enduro School & Beginner's Enduro

On May 1st The Puget Sound Enduro Riders Present a enduro school and beginners enduro.  The first day consists of expert instructors, who will discuss the rules, course layout, timekeeping basics, setting your clock, riding "possibles", scoring, strategy, and much more!  This is a medium difficulty terrain on an approximate 35 mile course.  It consist of slow speed averages and there will be sweep riders assisting riders experiencing difficulties.


This is a great event if you are interested in enduro's and want to try your hand a running an enduro.  Experience some of the best trails in the Pacific Northwest - which are only accessible during these sanctioned event days!  Awards for all riders finishing!  Competition license holders are not eligible for awards.

Sign-up and Event Timings

  • 8:30am - 9:30am - Sign-up
  • 9:30am - 11:00am - Enduro School & Riders Meeting
    • Expert instructors will discuss the finer points of rules, course layout, timekeeping basics, setting your clock, riding "possibles", scoring, strategy, and more.
  • 11:00am - 11:30am - Sound Test
  • Noon - 3:00pm - Beginners' Enduro
    • First rider out at 12:01pm.
  • 3:00pm - Awards
There will be no gas available on the beginner's enduro course.  Be sure you can ride ~35 miles on a single tank of fuel.

Shelton Valley Enduro

This NMA Points Event begins with sign-ups at 7:00am on May 2nd, 2010.  There will be a discount of $5 for all pre-entries received by April 26th, 2010 - so get your entry in early!  Print the registration sign-up from the flyer here.  In the PSER Shelton Valley Enduro tradition, there will be Jart Charts, Finisher Pins, and over 30% awards - keeping up the great tradition of excellent hosted enduro's in Washington State.  Be sure to ride these excellent trails which are only available during this sanctioned event!


Courses

This years enduro will feature 2 courses; both courses will have gas available.

Short Course

The short course this year is ~60+ miles.  There will be gas available.  Bring your can.

Long Course

The long course this year is ~90+ miles.  There will be gas available on the course.  Bring two cans.

Camping

There is self-contained dry RV camping for free - so join us for the entire weekend and have a great time with the entire family!

Food and concessions are provided by Mason County Search & Rescue.
